Arrow Need audio help !!

Alright i have searched quite a bit and i havent really found a definate answer for what i am needing to know... so let me cut to the chase and fill you in.. i have a kvt715dvd coming tomorrow.. i am only replacing the HU and none of the speakers.. disregard the bose sub i have my own solution to that what i need help w/is the front speakers and tweets for now.. or a definate answer before i tear into my 350! First off where is the bose amp located that runs the front speakers? second if i go to wal mart and get my adapter and all that (we dont have a close circuit city or radio shack) im sure its not gonna be 100 % right will it? i mean not all nissans have a bose system so is it going to be one of those where i have to guess which wire is going where or do u think it will work out fine? 3rd knowing there is an amp is it possible for me to just go to the amp once i wire it up and bypass it completely if its not going to work right.. i have come to that conclusion almost since i have read about 100 posts on it.. also i am not lookin for the best sound. thats why i dont want to replace any of the speakers.. i just want them to work fine and sound decent w/my new HU which is 50x4 so im sure i can get the power to those speakers.. and i wont have it wide open anyway i dont want it really loud.. i cherish my hearing.. also i dont want to buy any more adapters.. i dont see in spending $50 on a adapter if ican just by pass the bose amp and use the radio one.. so can anyone help me.. also can someone post a wire diagram if it wont work so i can manually wire this up .. thanks for the help!

Jeff

First, the bose system in the 350z has two amps: one next to the spare tire and the other in the sub area.

Secondly, the bose speakers are 2 ohms and can cause your head unit some trouble. If you only want to replace the head unit, then it's better to buy a line output converter. The best is the Audiolink PD4 but it's about $180 with the harness.

You may want to replace the speakers too. Find a deal on eBay on some infinity kappas which fit nice in the Z.
