Thanks zeechick. Can the V1 model be turned around so the "Z" isn't showing through the front for a somewhat less conspicuous mount?

Ok, if you look at your bracket on the V-1, you will see that it has an angle on it where the suction cups are. These are the holes we used if you take them off for the Z mount to fit into. It just doesnt fit flat, so it cant be turned around. It will only fit one way. But we could make you one and not buff the anodized part off the Z and it would remain totally black all over. The Z would be there, you just wouldnt beable to see it hardly at all.

Illegal in most states?

 

I believe it is only illegal in maryland and virginia.......... you need to read the manual that you get with your detector. It states what states are illegal. I dont think 2 states is most........
