Default system setup Q's

hi guys, I have the non-navi, non-bose system. I'm planning to add an aftermarket headunit and a sub w/ mono amp pretty soon.

My question is is it better to a 8ga or 4ga wiring kit? I'm also planning to add components down the road, just not right now.

I'd say go with 4 gauge and add a distribution block.. that way it's easy to add another amp in the future and you don't have to disconnect any of the stuff you would already have. put a distribution block on the ground as well. Maybe use 2 gauge if you plan to use a lot of juice... that way you don't starve your amps in the future

What good installers do is just put in the biggest wire the amp can take.
