Default nav cubby compartment

I just got in the nav cubby compartment so i can install my dvd screen, the only problem is the opeing is the same size as whats in the car now the only difference i can see is that is a wire connecter plug on the back of the unit i guess thats for the nav are a light to plug into. did i order something wrong? it still looks like the plastic will need to be cut for a screen to fit, the way it looks i could have just took the one out that was allready there and saved 100 bucks. Any help are advice would be great.

the nav compartment should be motorized, so when you turn on the ignition, it will automatically flip up.

It should be this partno: F8260 CD800
It´s also known as the 2003 cubby

It´s not motorized! This is only if you order the nav system with the car.
