Default Input on Basslink & 2 10's Overkill?

I was wanting to get some input from some people. I am just about to do some upgrades to my system, and have purchased a Basslink, and was also thinking of getting a Z fitted enclosure for 2 10's to add with it. Think its to much for this little car considering? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say that'd be a little overkill. I'd say either sell the basslink and get the 10's, or just keep the basslink. The basslink sounds pretty awesome by itself, might even want to keep that on its own

a basslink and 2 subs would sound funny. It might be loud but it wouldnt be as clean as 2 10s or the basslink on its own.

Think the basslink and 1 ten would be ok? I should have just done the two 10's, but already ordered the basslink. Thing is I have two PPI amps that are just collecting dust, and want to use them. Any other suggestions?

One or the other bro. Question is, how much bass are you really looking to get?

would like to get as much as possible, without overdoing it, which is why i started asking in here. I guess I will try it out with the basslink, and if...swap out. I do appreciate the help though!

Give the basslink a shot. You might actually be satisified at what the little 'link can do for ya

Hey Deceit,

First off just wanted to give my condolences to you on the game, it sucked to say the least, or so I think. Anyway...thanks for the input you are giving me and you to Ahsmo. Deceit I see you have the "Link" in your EVO. Are you satisfied with yours, enough bass? Stereo shop today was saying "I don't think you will like it". But I see in here everyone loves theirs, which makes me doubt him. Plus he's pissed anyway cause I bought my stuff from the big "E" and not him. Not to mention the HU I got was 257.00 from the E, and he tells me today that 257 was 70.00 below cost and that he has no idea how this guy can sell that cheap. Not that I give a D**N. Anyway, just thought I would share that with ya. Get back to me soon.

Thanks!

LOL!

Everyone's been rubbing the eagle loss in my face, but that's the first condolence . Aside from McNabb ****ing up, I stil.. sorta enjoyed it. Kept me on the edge of my seat!

I love my basslink man. It's not ridiculously over-powering but it can hit hard, low, clean, and crisp. Hell, jack it up enough and it can be overpowering too! It's a fantastic unit in every way. I couldn't be happier with it.

Honestly, stereo shops and even us on the boards can tell you that it either rocks or sucks, but we're not going to be the ones driving in your car every day

As for my Evo, I sold it back in October and came back to the "dark side" with the Z cars

I think it will cancel eachother. Best to stick to one or the other. There's no such thing as too much bass, go with the 2 10s.

Hey Ahsmo or Deceit,

Just wanted to ask should I use a cap? I will be running the amp for the basslink and one more amp. Let me know, if so I gotta get one.

Thanks.

Thumbs down Basslink Sucks!

Well after a two day install for all of my equipment and upon listening to the "link" I have come to the conclusion that the "Link" sucks. It sounds like a tin can at low volumes, but gets pretty good the louder you go. Needless to say, this is coming out and a stealthbox has been put on order. I just wish I could of been able to hear this before all of this happened. Anyway...again I do appreciate everyones help.
