Question 350z base radio input question

Does anyone know if the base radio(not the Bose) on the Z has an aux in?

I have plug n play sattellite unit and would like to hardwire it to the Z's radio.

Thanks,

I believe it does, I also have a murano with bose and I added the pac aux in to it. When I took the HU out of my base Z, I noticed the same sat input on the back, I didn't bother testing it out since I was upgrading the HU, give it a try and let me know how it turns out!

no it does not have an aux in. here's a picture which shows three connectors, two proprietary connectors and one for the antenna.

Hep, that brown connector is the sat input, go get a pac aux adapter, it plugs into any nissan factory HU with sat in, again I didn't actually try it, but that brown input is for a satellite radio tuner.

If your button on the front says "RADIO" and not "FM/AM", thats an easy indictation if you can use the PAC for the aux input or not

The PAC will not work unless you have got SAT in. The CD Changer and SAT inputs look identical which is why both older and the latest head units have the same 12 pin connector.
For a non-SAT ready HU you need the Soundgate ALNS1 and Soundgate AUXCBLALP. The internal circuitry is different however.
As you can see they are pricey: Logjam link

It's meant to be selectable by pressing the CD button twice.
I don't have a Soundgate adaptor - check with them. I'm just trying to point you in the right direction.

The soundgate should work on all non bose radios since it works through the cd changer port. You just hit the cd button twice to switch over to it.
