I would definitely get the Performance and go aftermarket on the stereo.

I know that JLAudio is in the process of developing one of their Stealth Boxes for the 350z

IMO the stereo is fine, the audio pilot is just annoying, but thats been fixed. if you order now, you wont even have to worry about that.

but on the other hand, no way is the touring worth it if you dont even want the leather. I love the leather, the heat, and the power. thats what makes it worth while.

had my touring model for a few day's now. i had a track model pre-ordered, didn't like the fabric seats at all. leather is much much better, the comparison is night and day. the stereo could use some work, but it's got potential. if you have the opportunity check out both. i was in the same boat you were i didn't have any desire to get leather. it just worked out that way and was well worth it imo.

IMO the Bose system is NOT worth the money. My Touring Bose sucks big time. a $1500 aftermarket system would definatley kick it's ***
