Default DIY install "Finished" *Pics

Well after chipping away at it here and there for a couple of weeks, my install is finally "finished" (sorta, for now.) This was my first install ever and thankfully it went pretty smoothly. I was going for a stealthy system that sounded good, so id say "mission accomplished."

Pioneer AVH-P6500DVD
Pioneer AVIC-88DVD
Sony MEX-1HD
RE Audio RE components
Adire Audio Shivas (2)
Profile CL400
Avionixx AXT 800.2

I really shoulda been taking pictures along the way, but i never seem to remember to take pictures of anything i should...

Adire is redoing thier manufacturing and has been sold out of most everything for awhile, i ended up picking up the two shivas for $135 used off someone, great boom for the buck (one is damaged and repaired, sounds fine) and with a shallow mounting depth perfect for the Z.

I just looked at the picture of my amp rack and starting cracking up... man that thing sucks, why the hell did I put that picture first

I have that same dvd flip out screen but have you noticed how dark that thing is or have you found an area where you can change the brightness of the screen also is there any different backrounds besides the blank blue backround or the stupid dolphins. Thanks

yeah, the fact that my amp rack looks like that too is pretty much why i've not posted pix just yet. i'm debating whether to redo the whole thing for show or just leave it as-is. probably the latter. cool system!

Good choice on the Shivas. They were one of the many drivers I was debating over when picking out the hardware for my system.

I use the setting that auto adujust the brightness depending on the time of day so at night time its dim and durring the day its bright; works great. You can adjust the backgrounds but i see no point, you can adjust the menu background or the background that is hidden behind the navagation screen. You can't adjust the background for the last screen, the one that shows the playing controls for the different sources... which is to bad cause that blank blue screen is
