I took delivery of my Z today and everything was fine till I got home and tried to lock the doors with my keyless entry, and it didn't work. I never tried it at the dealership. (please don't flame) So anyway I drove 1 hour and 20 min to get this thing., and I can't lock my door , or arm the security with the keyless control. Whats the deal?
did he give me the wrong one?

I did read the owner's manual and the pic looked different than the one I got. The button setup only had lock, unlock, and panic. the one in the pic had trunk as well.

Anyone have any ideas? I can lock the doors manually, but what the heck.

No, well I don't think so. I got 2 remotes and neither of them work

I think if you didnt get one with a truck release you got the wrong remotes...I think they all should have the trunk release....just lock the doors on the way out and it should be fine....then go to the dealer ASAP

 

Ya I guess I'll have to call the dealer and have them send them to me.

Sounds like you got the wrong remote for your car. You can program the remotes to match the car but all three have to be together at the dealer at the same time.

Sounds like the dealer owes you a tank of gas or a detailing. (get both!)

that's the remote my dad has on his titan... they might have given you the wrong remote

 

I called the dealer and they are sending me the new remotes w/instructions on how to program it. Sucks, but I guess its the only way I can get the remotes working. Does anyone have any experience w/programing?
