Playstation 2 how to...

I'm sure someone here can give you more specifics, but as I understand it these are the basics.
You need a audio inputs to the stereo to pipe sound through your existing speakers
You need video input to your screen (or stereo) if it has a screen
A hard mount for the PS2. This probably will have to be fabricated
A power inverter to change your DC power into a pseudo AC power signal. These can be bought several output levels... I was told a 400W inverter would be sufficient.
I think that's it. I am still thinking about this, tho... someone who has done it can probably tell you more.

Anybody that has done this have suggestions on where to place the ps2 and inverter? I have the original ps2, would it be necessary to get the 'slim' version? probably a dumb question but could this work with a lilliput screen modified to fit and the original head unit?

not too many people getting the ps2 thing done. most are doing it with a modded xbox. the inverter and ps2 should easily fit in the glove compartment behind the passenger seat. im running a 150watt inverter with built in power "filter". remember, more wattage = more noise which = lines on your screen. that and not having things properly grounded.
