Yeah, I also did my strut bar cover, there is a local shop here that can mix paint and put it into spray cans. It ain't cheap though

$32 for a pint of PPW white
$32 for a pint of PPW pearl
4x$8 for them to make the aerosol cans (only used one of each, the rest will go into other project I imagine)
$10 for 1 can of clear coat (required)

I may get a spray gun when I run out of the can stuff as I still have the extra from the pints and in the long run it would be cheaper. Also, the clear finish is orange peal central so 1500 wet sanding, rubbing compound and glaze is required for any sort of shine worth showing off.

Lastly, the paint may be dry on the surface but be careful with things like speaker grills that push against it or it may bunch up right there, seems to need about two months to get real hard.

wow i hope my box looks as good as your guys boxes, are all of you guys just hobbiest or some of you doing this as a profeshion.
