Two 10' Sub Enclosure Question...?
My peeps.......
Without going 'custom' what is the BEST enclosure you've seen and/or heard that will accomodate Two 10' SUBS? Preferably an enclosure that fits under the Strut-Brace (extending towards the back of the seats!), and is readily available (Name & Where?)

Won this for $79 on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1
Packed with Poly fill from Walmart.
Hits really hard and reaches the low frequencies too.
(You must tell them if you want a 2 tens or 1 ten box)

Thanks for the quick reply... I love that look and size... Unfortunately I need 1.2 cu/ft air space for optimum performance of my subs. And I preffer figerglass over mdf for weight... I may have to go custom. $ $

I no this is mdf :http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
but he has posts on this board and others where he talked about offering a fiberglass box soon. I read one thread on a forum (not sure which one) where someone commented they got MIKES first fiberglass box and liked it.

Are you using 10W7s?
To do a fiberglass enclosure for this is somewhat wasteful and will cost too much extra. It can be done, I can make you one, but is so much more labor intensive and annoying to work with vs. mdf. If you wanted .. you could do 0.5" mdf with windowpane braces all througout (think of an airplane structure, like ribbing) ... that could save weight.
Again .. this is gonna be a custom job.

I got one of the first Fiberglass Sub boxes for 2 10's from mike. It has 1.5" of air space and fits really well under the strut bar. Contact him to see when his next batch of fiberglass boxes are going to be finished. I think his member name is mlg9770. The quality is great, I'm running two Alpine Type R's and it pounds extremely hard.

i just put a Nazar fberglass under the strut box n my car with a 10w 7 in it. Sounds great..getting it painted today. NAZAR got GREAT prices and it is awesome work. I took my car to car toys to install the amp and they couldnt believe I got a w 7under there. It has plenty of air space.
TXSTYLE remember I saw you at Tweeter in Frisco....I was getting price quotes to install it. If you wanna here a 10w7 in a fiberglass box let me know...Im in Frisco all the time.

I do make an under strut fiberglass box but have'nt had any listed on eBay lately. I had been selling them as unfinished and this has'nt help in selling them. I have a few of this style almost ready to list but this will be the last of them.
The problem is I designed it to fit so tight under the strut there is no room to cover it with carpet or even vinyl and still fit. I am making a new mold with a little smaller box so I can cover with carpet or vinyl and sell finished ready for subs.

Zenclosures (new name...Die-cut stickers coming soon if anyone wants any. Just email your address and I'll mail you a pair when they get here)

Try the JL Audio stealthbox, it comes with 2 10w4. I have had there stealthboxes in two other vehicles and they are built well and sound amazing. I also plan to get one for my 05 CS 350Z.

mlg9770's boxes rock! my buddy vitaminZ has his box. the build quality and fitment is top notch. eventhough his audiobahn subs require more airspace, the subs still hit pretty good! great buy IMO.
