Another V1 installation
Just got my V1 last week and jsut installed it today. I put it right abov the rear view mirror right under those black dotted thingy. I don't know if those things going to effect the radar sensor or not. I use double sided velcro to stick onto the windshield. Before the installation, I used the cups to put it on the windshild and it's pain in the azz to keep it up there. Just made a 2:30 hours trip and I was so happy that I bought the V1. I was saved many times by it. Each time I was smiling as I passed by the trooper hiding on the side of the thruway.
Here are couple shots of it.

Hmm, I might be shopping for a V1 pretty soon . Anyone know if they are planning on releasing a newer version? I'd hate to buy one & have a newer version come out shortly after. Sorry, I'm a newb when it comes to this thing.
I got the Compustar as well .

Sharp eyes you guys got there That's my new compustar alarm. I also asked them to wired the auto starter in there too. Works like a charm, but I don't intended to use it though.

Mine's about five years old and still works well enough in my environment that I don't worry about an update.

haha this made me laugh. those "cold mornings" in LA.....
not being mean, just found it rather funny....
remote starts come in handy here when you have 6" of snow and 1" of ice on your car and it is -5° out.......

Yeah, it would be funny but I don't live in L.A.
I live up in the Bay Area & it can get really cold during the winter. Sometime it can get to 20-30 degrees with no snow but extremely frosty.
