need help picking HU

i'm having the hardest time picking a HU right now, so i'm looking for help

. i think i've narrowed it down to these. which one would you get and why?

Alpine or Clarion - not much difference really in preference between the two.

I had a few freinds that went through three or four clarion head units before finally giving up on them....alpine might be the way to go.

thanks for the help. i just ordered the Alpine d310, should be here on wednesday or thursday.
