Really liked how you mounted the CD changer. Haven't seen that done before. How did you get the cut out in the storage compartment right???

Nice job.

Was that bracket from the Z, or did you fabricate it for the Cd changer. Looks TIGHT!

Thanks, the Box took me a good full day to do. As for the dimension, im not sure if i still have them, but i look around the house for them. But building it was tricky, just about every side has an angle. And you will need a table saw to make it. Plus i did a mok up of the box with cardboard.

Thanks, i wanted to maxumize the space in my Z. Cutting out the opening was very easy todo. The bracket that hold the rear of the glove box comes out, basicly mounted the changer to that bracket and placet is on the back to the glove box and traced the out line of the changer to the back of the box, then cut.

RANDY350Z, it is the factory bracket that holds the back of the glove box to the frame. I did have to cut a little notck from the L tabs frame inside the car. I dont know if you can see that in the first pictures, so that the changer could fit.

I did take some picture yesterday of the finished inside and well post tonight. My install has been done for at lest a month.

Why didn't I think of that...........

Did you fab brackets to support the changer from the sides and rear? Or did the Alpine brackets fit somehow?

The brackets came with the alpine changer, but the only thing i did was drill new wholes on the side that mounts to the glove box frame.

Yep that would be the 9815 model.
Under that to the left is my bluetooth cell phone display (Parrot Ck3100) Has voice dailing, calling ID, Voice answer and voice hang up, so i never have to touch it. On the right side is a whistler 3300 radar display. the main radar unit is located in the front behind the grill.

I attached some one pictures i took the other day.

yep, A wireless handsfree/handset car phone. I never even have to take my phone out of my pocket. Jump into the car and go. Turn the car on and it links itself via bluetooth to my cell phone automaticly, no cradle, no plugs and no wires.

is that an alpine sub. type-E... i thought they only had type-s -r -x

mad props on that sub box though. i made one and it was hard as sh¡t. but now im just guna thow out the spare and make a box back there. i tried both places and it sounds twice as nice back there. kinda wish i still had a spare but dont miss the wieght... fix a flat is not to be used on Z rated tires. but i think that just because it cant handle z ratted speeds.

I think they stopped making the alpine E, but i have two from my preveuse car. Id have to look that up on witch dash kit i used, but i got it from CircuitCity.

As for your spare, why not use RunFlats on your car.
