Question Stock Battery or DRY CELL...?

For those of you who have gone aftermarket with at least 1,200+ watts of power, did you keep your stock battery or opt for a dry-cell or other. After researching audio forums and talking with installers, I won't be using any caps, but I figured I'd at least get some feedback from my fellow Z'ers on batteries...

Thanks!

Optima Yellow Top. Factory location.
I had to buy a longer negative cable and I moved the fuse box over to the space between the fender and the battery.

look into SVR batteries, I prefer them over Optima and they are cheaper too.

Nice setup you got there kitkos! How's everything sound? What type of mount/enclosure for your subs?

Thanks for the option imntcrzy! I will definitely check it out!

Sweet! How does it sound... honestly? Another member here has two 12" MTX mounted in the spare tire area firing up and he's using the same amount of power I'll be using: 400w per sub. His shiz pounds in the ground while standing in front of the car!!!
I too will be using the 'under-strutbar' box Dual-10" but in fiberglass. It has been re-enforced with addition fiberglass and it is painted chrome silver! It looks so foking sweet. And my Elemental Design subs are also silver with black lettering! It's gonna look like some art-work back there come this FRIDAY....
