I had originally wanted to get the infinity perfect 6.1 components for the front doors but on crutchfield it says they do not fit. I'm assuming its because the front mounting area is very shallow. What are some good components I can get for the front? Thanks

 

Most people are adding a spacer as there's a ton of room behind the stock grill.

 

They (Infiniti 6.1) fit, just need a spacer. They were the first commonents I had in my car. I upgraded to FOCAL. If you can afford to, I would suggest them, simply incredible.

You can make your own from MDF. Texture painted black and screws painted looks OK. Use lock washers.

cool, i was thinking about just cutting up blocks of MDF for spacers too. One more question, I can get the perfects for about 200 brand new I can also get some Diamond Hex Components used (should be in almost new condition) from a friend for 200. Which would be the better way to go? I'm thinking probably the Hex?

 

I have a set of used Hex600s if you are interested. Only used them for about 4 months, near new.
