Default Questions about installing audio system

hey everyone, i have a couple questions about hooking up a system in the z. First of all where is the easiest place to bring the power wire from the battery into the car? Do you need to drill a hole? Is it hard to replace the factory deck with a alpine deck or should a professional do it? when u are hooking up 2 amps a 4 channel and 2 mono, do both amps have to have a remote wire that goes to the deck or just one of the amps? And last question for now, would a 250/1 jl amp be enough power to power the jl stealth box with 2 10s? Thank you, please someone help me, ive installed a couple systems before, but never put a deck in and never really installed 2 amps.... if anyone knows where i can maybe get a diagram for reference please help..

Take a look at this:

https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video/26598-350z-how-to-s.html

read down the page a little for the power/ground wire install.

On the amp, just run the remote wire from the deck to one of the amps, then run another wire connecting one amps remote turn on to the other amps remote turn on. Thus, the amps are kind of dasiy chained together.

The 250/1 JL amp is going to be a little weak for the stealth box. Since the amp puts out 250 watts RMS and the stealth box likes around 600. I don't know JL amps well, but going with the 500/1 might be a much better option.

I will let someone else help you on the deck install. Not sure what I am going to do myself on that yet.

Good luck!!

yea the 500/1 is a much better option for the stealth box. the 10w3v2's are 300 watt rms each, so the 250/1 will definitely be too weak.
