hey does anyone else think that the bose system that comes with the 350z sucks! Well i got fed up with it and bought a complete new system. I just installed the deck tonight, made a huge difference by itself....now im thinking about selling my jl stealth box, jl amps and components, just because it made that much of a difference to me. That little bose 10 can kick a lot better with a aftermarket deck, just thought i would let u guys know if u already didnt.... ooo and the install on the deck wasnt that bad, never installed a deck before and i did it in 2 hours thanks to some post in the how to section, thanks guys!

 

How did you wire it into the factory amp?

Line level reducer?

 

All i did was match up the wires from the wire harness i bought to the ones hanging out the back of the deck, i bought my deck used, so maybe it was easier than a new one. The blue,white wire in the harness is the amp turnon so match the wire from the deck to that one, and the black with a white is the amp ground and hook it up to the black wire from the deck... hope that helps....

 

What deck did you purchase?

 

if you need the money, sell the stuff. if not, install it. it will sound much better. although crap in is crap out and a new hu makes a difference, wait till you put everything in. you'll be happy. if you wait a while, then the effect will wear off. that's when you can install the rest of your stuff and get the same feeling you have now.
