Default Stupid question

I have just gotten my stereo installed and realized my cd's are still in the head unit. Anyone know a quick way to power it up so that I may remove them. Bose still sucks.

thier are 2 ways.
1. take apart the stereo but good luck getting it back together.
2. deinstall the new stereo so you can plug in the old stereo to eject cd then reinstall the new stereo.

I bet if you take it to an installer they can hook it up to get the CDs out.

Nice move, Clyde!

Sounds like something I would do!

I would think giving it power and ground would be enough to get them out of there?? I could be wrong though, worth a try....

The "drop from the building" method sounds the most fun, but I found the wiring diagram by using the search option. Funny thing huh? Well it worked thanks guys. Oh have you guys seen that pitiful thing called a sub. Disgusting!!

I did this to but after the install of my Alpine in dash dvd player that took me FOREVER to get the wires ran to the "brain" box under my glove box, I just said F*** It! I can burn the same music on other cds. LOL

I don't have the Bose stereo schematic on me right now, but you can do a web search. There is a website I pulled the schematics from last year(hard to get ahold of). You'll need 3 pieces of wire a few feet long and a car battery. Sheath the wires on each end. Shove one wire into the corresponding pin slot that allows constant 12VDC, shove the other in the pin slot that only allows energized 12VDC when the ignition key is on. With the other end of the 2 wires, clip them on the the positve terminal of your car battery. With the 3rd wire, attach it to the frame of the radio. Then clip it to the negative battery terminal. This will allow you to operate your radio and remove the CD's.
Have fun!
