Default Navi "Brain" Unit

For those of you who have an aftermarket navigation unit. Where did you mount the brain? I had it underneath my passenger seat of my civic, but under the seats of the 350z isnt flat (need a flat surface for the gyro sensors).

Why not buy the factory piece where the factory navigation goes? I think it is only about $15.00. It replaces one of the rear pockets behind the rear seats. I believe it is the driver side.

those are slightly angled, i need a perfectly flat mount. Im thinking about just putting spacers underneath the briain.
