Ive had this amp forever and it sounds amazing compared to any other amps ive used in the past, i use it to power PCE216's (MBQuarts) and I noticed ever since late May when its like 95 and humid in Atlanta that after BLASTIN my music for 45+ minutes the amp will have the red thermal light come on, but i notice NO degradation in performance. Is this ok? I have the amp in the glove box but i have 2 fans in the glove box door pulling the hot air OUT (dont know how much good this is doing or ANY fans would do in this situation). BUT this light never seems to come on in the fall/winter time, if it is on during summer after blasting it for a while is this normal for the JL? Like i said ive never had it cut off or ever heard any difference in sound quality when i notice the light is on.
