does anyone make a under strut box for a 12 inch sub? is that even possible?

 

I've only found custom built stuff....I've been quoted anywhere from $500 to $1000 dollars, depending on how "fancy" you wanna get...! That price is just for construction of the box!!

 

pm mlg9770 im almost 100% sure that he can make u one for a decent price, his name is mike and hes the one that mostly everyone buys there custom under the strut bars for either 2 10's or a single 10...

you can always find pre-fab understrut boxes for 10's and 8's, but I have yet to find a pre-fabricated understrut box for 1 or 2 twelves.... even JL audio has there "stealth box" for 10's for the Z!!!

 

i fit two bmf crossfire 12 speakers under the strut bar for $550. my installer is in ontario california. it is 30 miles away from L.A. HERE are some pics it sounds great too. the installer number is (909)984-8585

 

You don't see them because a 12 inch sub can't fit in there straight up and down without some sort of customization. Seriously, it's a little car and a 10 is all you really "need" for good sound. Of course, what one "needs" is not always the same as what one "wants". For example, you only "needed" a car to get you to work but you "wanted" a bada$$ car, so you got a Z.

 

Get 1 nice JL 10W7 it will be better.
