Default calling all G and Z forum, assist me with dealer!

i got an issue with my car dealer "Crest Infiniti" in Plano(Dallas) Texas. Here's the issue at hand. i have aftermarket speakers, subs, and amps, kept the Bose HU. been playing loud and clear for over a year already... all of a sudden when playing ONLY cd's the left channel does not work, sounds distorted like the speakers are blown.. the dealer ordered the radio and i took the car to them yesterday (7-7-05), their telling me that my warranty is void for any audio because of the aftermarket equipment. any suggestions would be great!!!
Maybe it's just me; but if the radio and tape are working good but not the cd, how did the aftermarket pieces cause the left audio on the cd player to go bad. i'm scratching my head

Bring it to another dealer.
I also believe they have to prove it was the aftermarket stuff that made the Bose HU bad.

I'm a certified broadcast television engineer (really) and for the life of me can't imagine a possibility of of anything you've done causing the problems. It is impossible and I will testify to that fact in the court of your choice (for a nominal fee and per diem of course).

There is something wrong with the CD portion of the headend >.<

Tell the dealer that you're willing to bet him your car against a new one off of his lot that the problem is in the headend and wasn't caused by your aftermarket speakers.

Oh, they changed the icon selections.

The reason your left speakers cut out is faulty wiring INSIDE the Bose HU. My '03 Maxima had the same problem. There was a TSB issued for the Maximas, not sure if it applies to the Z though.
