I have the same unit. You will need to mount the "brain" under the car seat. You will also need a double din dash kit, the one that has the pocket on the bottom and radio slot on the top. I didn't use a harness because all my amps and speakers are aftermarket.

Did you order it from a catalog or something? If you don't mind me asking, how much did it run you? $$$
The HU is nice and pretty user friendly. The remote control is not user friendly. Way too many buttons. The HU has a built in cooling fan in the rear also. Word of advised.....When you install that thing make sure to tie wrap any loose cables tightly together and cut any excessively long wires, then tie wrap those also... You are going to have a tough a time stuffing all that crap behind the radio....There is absolutely no room to hide the brain in the dash. I removed the center console and ran the thick serial port cables through that, then down into the carpet...If you cut a small slit in the carpet, under the seat, you'll be able to fish the cable thru that..It is a very clean install, but you'll have to remove the seat in order to do the work..

i ended up doing it myself and everything works great...thanks for the tip on the ebrake vo, i grounded it.
one more thing...my radio reception really is horrible. did i not hook something up correctly or do i need a better antenna assembly?!? maybe i'm missing something with the settings of the unit. maybe one of you can chime in again.
thanks for all the tips.
