I recently purchased a new remote for my 2WSS-AS alarm and have some issues wth the new remote. Sometimes it takes two presses to arm or unarm my car or when my alarm goes off it does not page my remote. Anybody experience this problem and know how to fix it? My old remote fine with the exception of a cracked LCD. Thanks in advance.

 

I've got the same alarm system, this is a late response, but better late then never right? You should check if your brain is connected in right and see if the antenna has any cuts in the wires or anything else that would disturb it, do you have the v1 or v2? I have the v2 brain, but my remote still LAAAAAAAAGGGGSSSSSS, sometimes I have to push a button several times, as for paging, if your inside a building with thick walls, it sometimes doesn't get through. Can't rely on it too much. Hope this helps somewhat. Good Luck!

 

Typically the problem with these units in a low battery, the ss units do suck alot of power from the battery. Try changing the batteries out more often, should work great.
