I just purchased that deck and installed it in my 350. Very nice deck! I know a 3" screen sounds small, but the picture is VERY good and it is big enough to watch a movie on. I may put a bigger screen in the nav cubby using the video out wire on the HU. Installing the deck required a little extra work due to the way the face flips up to load a disc. I had to make a spacer to fit between the sleeve and the dash kit to keep the deck farther out from the dash. Nice sound quality and the dvd mp3 capability is great. I've got one disc with every mp3 on my pc in the car. I don't have any pics of it yet as im still finishing up my entire system install. I should have it done next week and will post a ton of pics of everything.

Memphis ST1000d 1100x1 on the subs
Lightning Audio 1 farad cap
Tsunami twisted pair rca cables
Stinger speaker wire

ah...that's pretty cool. yeh, I'm thinking of getting the deck, too, but am very worried about the DVD capability. I burn most of my stuff on my Mac Super Drive, using DVD-Rs. And it seems JVC offers little documentation on what will actually work.

Did the deck come with its own software? And I'd probably add that Farenheit screen to the cubby, too. That'd be hot

I actually just bought that deck yeasterday on ebay for $400 shipped (NEW) which is a very good deal. I have found them on the internet (shopping.com) and the cheapest price was around $434 shipped. You can buy them used for around $350 to $390 shipped on ebay as well. I plan on putting an lcd in the cubby, since the screen is a bit small. The reason i bought this one is because of its stylish look, its dvd player fuction and the dvd-mp3. I hate flip ups and my choices were either the new alpine dva-9860 or the jvc kd-avx1.

There are 6 colors to choose from, but it only changes the illumination around the screen. The 2 control ***** on the left are always blue however.
