Using ipod with alpine headunit?

With the iPod Shuffle, you'd probabally be better off just using the AUX input on the head unit. AFAIK, you can't control the songs on the shuffle, other than skip/pause/stop/play.

The alpine interface can only be hooked up using the Dock connector plug. Thus, no ipod shuffle can work. You can use some kind of aux input coming out of the headphone jack though.

I have an iTrip and it works pretty good...if thats what your talking about like listening to yuour songs on your radio as you drive. If you dont know what it is cause a lot of people dont you plug it into your ipod where your headphones go then change your radio station to 87.9 and control it all by your ipod.
