I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be possible to mount and hardwire this delphi gps unit:

into the the gps slot so that it looks clean and turns on when u start the car rather than running it out to the cigareatte adapter. any ideas?
ps: the gps wasnt my choice but it was given to me for free as a gift
