Default cant wait for install!!

Okay, I know I should cator the needs of my severely feathered tires and get an alignment done like yesterday...also should have 2nd gear checked out because of grinding...although it doesn't make any grinding sounds. It just feels like when coasting 7 mph and trying to put it into 1st gear. You feel the gears. But instead I splurged into front Alpine speakers Type S. I went to Best Buy to pick up spacers and after 3 returns....dont ask....I got so pissed that I went to the electronics store I used to work at and spent $1030 CDN on system. All Alpine.

1 CDA-9851 (deck) $250 (got it at cost or really close to it)
2 SWS-1022D (subs) $224 for the pair
1 SP-S170A (fronts) $80
1 MR-DM605 (AMP) $420

Sub Total = $974
Tax = 15% DOH!!!
Total = $1120 CAD --> About $900 USD

Now...you guys down there probably get things at a better price because of taxes being cheaper. Now I have to pay the guy to do an install. Gonna go custom fiberglass. Thinking about trying to have everything placed behind the stabilizer bar. This way I still have luggage space. Spare tire might cause issues. I'll have to take a second look at that. Here's my question fellas. Should I upgrade my alternator? I don't want to have battery issues later on. Also...what about those "caps". I forgot if that is the right word. They are the power-in-a-can things for your subs. I was paranoid before about leaving my car at the train station every morning....man..now I'm gonna be in a comma. I'm gonna call my insurance to see how much more I have to pay to have it all insured.

I'll post pics soon when the system is in. Until then, hit me back.

The rule of thumb is 0.5 to 1.0 farad for every thousand watts worth of amplifier. You need to mount the cap as close to the amps as possible and with the same diameter cable as the power leads.

thanks...I'm assuming that if I talk to the guy who will install the system will let me know if I need one. I'm guessing I don't because the AMP is rated at 600Watt RMS at Oms.
