Default Need Help with Fuses/Wiring!

Hi all. I hooked up my remote lead for my amps to the switched 12v source going into the HU. Needless to say, when I turned on the HU during testing, I accidentally grounded out the remote wire and blew a fuse (HU went dead). It took me like half an hour to find the fuse because it was labled "power mirror". Well, the HU works fine now, but the power side mirrors don't work AT ALL. I checked every other fuse, including the "audio" fuse, thinking they had it backwards with no success. Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions? Am I going to have to start tracing wires??!! I hope not. Wondering if this is related, or if some other part of the install effected it. BTW--the driver's side mirror harness is plugged in. THANKS!!!

The power mirror circuits are pretty simple.

From the ignition switch accessory position there is a 10 amp fuse in fuse block J/B which is the one next to the driver's kick panel (above the body control module).

The wire runs to the door mounted mirror remote control switch.

Three wires run to each mirror.

Inside each mirror there are two bi-directional DC motors.

I vote for the blown fuse too.

Does anyone know what fuse controls the mirrors? I replaced the one that says "mirror", and that was the one that controls the HU. Do both items run off the same fuse? If so, then it is definitely NOT blown, because the HU is working fine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the mirrors that shows the colors/pin placement/fuse box? That would greatly help when trying to determine what went wrong. The diagrams in the shop manual would be great. I have the manual for the g35 if anyone wants to "trade" info. I tried replacing all the fuses labled "mirror" with a new one, and that didn't work. Thanks!

The fuse position would be helpful...I just don't understand why the power mirrors would be on the same fuse as the 12V switched HU. Doesn't make sense...and if that IS the case, then it has to be something else, because the HU IS working. I need some diagrams, PLEASE!

There is a 10A fuse which runs the following items - Windows, Mirrors, Keyless Entry, Turn and Tail Lamps, Meter, Clock, Audio, Antenna, Navigation, and some other stuff that I can't decode.

10A in position #6 in the J/B fuse box.

Schematic's to follow.

#6 is working, so there must be a burnt wire/loose connection somewhere between 12A out of the M4 harness and the mirror control. Seems like that is the problem, right? Can't figure out what "2k" is in the Door Mirror diagram is. Got any diagrams of the "m11 and D1" harnesses? Thanks.

I think you need the "super multiple junction" diagram too.

Looking at the mirror diagram up top in the lower left hand bottom corner they put the plug/jack break outs - see the "D1" in the wiring diagram - it leads to the "D1" plug below.
