Default My audio set up complete!! Custom Amprack! (pics)

I just completed my audio setup! Complete with flux compacitor
Here are the specs:

HU: JVC KD-AVX1
LCD: Farenheit 7000 (perfect fit)
FR Speakers: Alpine Type R Comps (6.5") Had to mod door a little...
RR Speakers: Alpine Type R (6.5")
SUB: Alpine Type R (10") w/ zenclosures box (Excellent Quality!)
AMPS: Phenoix Gold 8:0:1 and 8:0:4 w/ self built amp rack
CAP: Power Acoustik 1.2 Frad w/ digital display

I made the amp rack in 2 days. I made a cardboard template first, then cut the wood and carpeted. Was as easy as it just sounded.

HU & LCD:

SUB:

So 'splain where that amp rack sits and what it attaches to.

I'm waiting (STILL AFTER 28 DAYS!!!) for my subwoofers to arrive. I have the Zenclosure box too but haven't found a home for my amplifiers.

Did you drill a hole for the remote control window of the Farenheit? It might be sitting in the shadow. Don't close the door on a screen that's still on as it gets a wee bit hot inside there as I found out.

(remove the fart can from your Toyota will 'ya )

Weight? The woofer is facing backwards - just crank that guy up and it will push him down the road.

I really came here to say that that's a nice looking Z, very well done.

Paul350Z, The amprack fits in the space between the start of the truck to the front of the strut bar. I did cut a hole in for the lcd (in shadow). Thanks for the heads up on not closing the cubby when the LCD is on.

AND WHATS WRONG WITH THE FART CANNON??? , that supra is my roomates, and btw its not a fart cannon is a full HKS exhaust.

B-Unit, Weight? who cares! the sub adds an extra 15hp...

Mahunt, The tint is bat's zt1.

im a freak when it comes to unecessarily weighing my car down, your system is hot dont get my wrong, i just personally would freak having the extra weight from the amps, box, amprack, sub etc in there. Thats all.

j/k. Very nice setup. With my strutbar box I couldn't get my Type-R sub in straight. Yours looks good.

No, it did fit...just not straight. It was the 350viper box and the receptors on the sub itself were hitting the bottom of the box so we had to angle it.

Nice setup... How did you fit the Type-R's in the front? Do you have the SPR-17LS? I have my fronts in but they hit the cover at high volumes ... Thanks in advance...

Not for me. His box is superb (at least for me...apparently not for everyone) ...it's my choice of speaker that is the problem.

I had the same problem at first, but i looked at a previous forum and someone said that if you unbolt 2 gold bolts (the two closest to the speaker hole, on the door) and take a flat head and rotate the screws counterclockwise and then rebolt on the bolts, the speaker will fit. It sounds complicated, but just look at your door and you will see what im talking about. Unscrewing the gold screws pushes the window back so you have more mounting depth for the speakers. I thought that it might mess up the window alignment, but so far i havent had any problems.
