Hi,
Just wondering if anyone out there has installed one of these PAC units with an Alpine headunit yet. As I've just brought a IVA-D310 MMS and Ipod interface and would like to keep the factory fitted steering wheel remote controls and believe this unit will do the job and is simplier to program than the SWI-X unit.
If so which of the 3 factory wires did you attached the white wire of the PAC unit to? Was it the earth? (I doubt it) or Volume UP wire or finally the volume down wire?
I've got a feeling it doesn't matter as you program the unit to each factory button push anyway but it would be great if someone can confirm this for me. Thanks.

I'll be using this interface with my Alpine IVA-W200. I'll let you know how it goes! I'm really trying to discipline myself to hold out until the 06 dash kit is available, but I don't know if I can make it or not. I don't like the factory bose HU at all.
