Default Install Prices [Please Respond]

I`m ordering two Alpine type-R subs at 500 watts each, along with an audiobahn 1600 watt amp, and a custon under-strut enclosure to go along with it. For those of you who know alot about this sort of stuff, around how much should I expect to pay for installation? I am going to call circuit city, best buy, and ultimate electronics later today, but I thought I`d get a general figure from you guys first.
Thanks!

Why dont you try and do the install yourself? Its a fun learning experience ... If I remember correctly they will charge you $20-40 per sub... Im not too sure how much they will charge for the amp... What enclosure do you have? Or are you planning on having them make it too?

so you are installing 1 amp basically? Average price is ~$50 per amp, but they could also try and upsale you on items like nicer RCA cables, bigger power wire etc. It sounds like a really easy install, so why not do it yourself?

heh, I`m really terrible at installing electronics. Bad with wires and whatnot, so I figured I`d let someone do it who knows what they`re doing, that way I`d prevent any problems down the line.

Oh and I have a Zenclosures box.

Good choice on the enclosure... Your install is pretty easy so assuming you have all the parts required (Power wire for battery to amp then amp to ground, in-line fuse holder, RCA cables and speaker wire) the only thing that would be time consuming would be running wires since you have to take off plastic panels...

What amp do you have? It sounds like the one I have which is 400W RMS. I dunno if it's enough to power 2 Type-R's.

I went to Good Guys and paid around $100 for amp, sub, head unit install.
