I could have sworn the stock radio buttons light up when you turn on the lights of hte car. The LCD part is back lit with orange, but the rest of the buttons (FM, AM, CD, etc.) should be back lit also right?

The reason is I just completed a screen install with TV Tuner and I have the install guy here and everything works but while testing and driving at night I found it hard to find the right button on the radio..which made me notice the buttons were not back lit. the installer finds this awkward as the radio has power the display area where the clock is located is back lit.

yes I think it is, but Im not gonna say 100%, one of those things you know till someone asks, then you second guess yourself. actually arent they all lit up during the day too? maybe not... I know the gauges are.

 

Yes they are along with the A/C controls.
