Nazar, what is the largest diameter woofer which can fit in the pods? Seems to be quite a difference between the JL and Focal woofers.

I'm running CDT ES-07 woofers which are consider 7" woofers. Hope they will fit......

We kept in mind for the larger sized speakers like the Focals (measurement for Focal i would say is the largest we had. I am Home now but I will measure tomorrow. If you want to send me a measurement of the speaker grilles you have I can let you know. There is also enough Fiberglass there where you can send down to get the Grille to fit.

Endless Shock,
You are in, Let me know when you are ready.

The silver pod looks ridiculous, but none the less good idea. Im sure the silver pod would look much better if the whole door panel was matched what do you think.

The pictures don't do them justice. The silver pods matched the other brushed aluminum color in the cabin perfect and they looked like they were stock. Here's a picture that shows them with the door closed and how well they matched the interior.

Looks good... I have a few questions maybe you can answer... Will this fit a 6.5-6.75 inch woofer? With the door closed what direction is the driver aimed? How did you mount the woofer on the pod (I know its screwed in there - What I want to know is if there is anything supporting the screw other than the F/G)? Hou much did it cost to have it painted?

Thanks in advance...

Sorry but I can't help you there. This is not my car, it belongs to another My350Z.com member. It was on display for a car show that Nazar and Justin (owners of WickedCAS) throws every year for the locals, as they kind of specialize in 350Zs and G35s, and I just happened to take a picture of it. I'm sure Nazar will chime in soon.

As far as the angle with the door closed, that picture I posted is with the door closed so hopefully you can judge the direction from at least the drivers side. Both Justin and Nazar are kind of fanatics when it comes to audio accuracy (Justin was voted one of the top 100 installers in the country) so I have no doubt that they designed them for optimum sound.

You will get a severe rainbow effect if you mount those tweeters in the doors near the pod. Stick witht he sail pannel location, as it is almost a dipole arrangement.

This should help

http://www.wickedcas.com/gallery/cat...c05659964c0fe5

RPLINK,
MOUNTING DIAMETER is 7" Well It is more like 6.99999 Inch Some light sending may be needed for some speakers. Most others will drop right in.

Endless Shock,
Speaker will get mounted in to th eFiberglass lip, If You want to make sure it is not going anywhere, Speed clips can be used from the back side of the mounting lip. You can see the direction of the driver in pictures. We made them angle enough for good sound but yet still be comfortable for driving without it hindering your left leg.

TwoNosBottles,
You realy have to see it in real life, If you want to you can get them and have them finished with vinyl, Or have them Texture painted to match the doors. Wahtever floats your boat.

Bubble,

It is a guarantee Fit. You will need to Nut and Bolt it to the door panel.

Tweeter Pod is Just not gonna happen, Mold is already pulled. I can modify one of th epods for you if you like. But $ would be a lot more since we now need to do custom work.

Yes $225 Shipped for th eones that are made, And First 5 people.
Unless you want to buy some speakers then It is only $199.95 And a Great deal on speakers

I strongly suggest using the stock tweeter spots, However if you insist. Send me your tweeter mounts I can mold it into new pods.

Cost wise you are looking at somewhere between $150-250 Additional.
I would have to make something custom, Possibly start from scratch for one of a kind.
