Just installed my pods last night... very easy to install, and sounds absolutly amazing> The mid-high used to sound muffled, but now its clear and crisp. after listening to my speakers on the pods i can honestly say that i would do whatever necessary to work these pods in to my budget, even if it means i have to get some cheaper speakers.
it really is the install that matters..

I like the way the pods push the speaker out instead of being muffled by the door frame. This article by CDT reviews the benefits of such a placement. Good work nazar.

oh since im already in this thread what is the best speakers to put in the pods? money isn't an issue as long as its worth it, i just want the best sound and good fitment i'll be using the clarion vrx935vd dvd touch screen head unit anyone used this for their roadster?

This is just what I need. I have just installed the GT factory doors fiber glass panals and the speakers only sit about half way in them. There off center big time ! I just dont know with the way my doors go up now if the pods will hit the A piller now.

We were away for a couple days. We just finished a full install including exterior mods to George Hincapie's New QX56. For those who do not know who he is He is the next Cyclist after Lence Armstrong in the Discovery Pro Cyclist. We delivered his vehicle to him. It was a 16 Hr drive from NH to SC. There will be a couple magazine coverges on this vehicle, I will keep you all updated.
Anyways We are back now and All pod orders will go out.
As for speakers I like the Focal 165K2p in the pods. Let me know if you need them.

Nazar, I'd really like the pods, two quick questions- I have the Dynaudio 240 mk II component set with a 7" woofer. the overall diameter on it is 175mm, which is just under 7". Will they fit well in your opinion? Also, can I still get the vinyled ones for 265 shipped? thanks!
