Just got a bonus, was going to get rid of the Basslink in the back and get some JL sub and a new amp.

I got Kappas in the front and stock in the rear. I'm not even completely sure i want to do this..
any advice?

 

You can get it done with a wooden box, May not be necessarily best fit. But you can get this done. If you want JL subs you have chosen one of the best for your car. You can also get a JL Amp to match.

The box is a steal for what you get ... unless you get a custom made enclosure (read $$$) this will make you more than happy.

The subs are great ... very nice sound quality .. and believe me, they can move enough air in out little cars to get loud.

The amp ... well ... thats where you'll skimp for now ... its got the power ... its just not the best .... anyhow ..wire em parellel parallel and you will be happy. That is not a very "good" amp ... but it will get the job done until you get your next bonus and get get a nicer amp.

I know this is something like $450 .. but hey .. I guarantee it'll put a big **** eatin grin on your face
