Right fter I got my car from the dealer, I drove into a Honda dealer and bought an S2000 antenna. Unscrewed the OEM and put on the short one. A couple of Honda salesmen got a hoot out of my swap.
Works perfectly. Looks much better as well. Go for it!!

I bought the Honda S2000 antenna from CourtesyNissan.com but the reception isn't as good as the stock one. I live far enough away from LA that the stations are kind of weak during the day. I swap the stock one and the Honda one back and forth depending on my mood.

I've lost count of how many times I've posted this, this week.
The S2000 antenna does not fit flush at the base; I don't know why so many people want this look, it doesn't even flow.
The IS300 antennas on eBay fit perfectly and gets good reception.

mike is right, the is300 antennas on ebay--which are NOT OEM IS300 antennas--fit flush and get good reception. The S2000 does NOT sit flush no matter what anyone says. Check any photos of it and you will see what we mean. The S2000 base simply doesnt flow right...it doesn't look like it belongs once you see the base fitment--besides, the IS300 ebay one is much cheaper haha

I switched antena's with our Nissan Murano antena (which IMO looks better then the S2000 unit). The antena is a almost OEM fit with minor trimming at base and this antena retains about 75 % of my reception (which is livable). Get used if possible because this part is not cheap new from Nissan. Worth taking a look at. I like it.

I had a Perrin on my Evo so I took it off and put it on the Z. IMO it looks a lot nicer. Lost some receiption on the back roads but not anything too bad. I'll post pics if you all want.

Well I had it from my Evolution so I just swapped it. I don't like the look of the larger antenna also.
