I am quite simply tired of the stock non-Bose head unit. It sounds like crap. So I am going to buy a new one. Problem is, I know nothing about stereos.

Here are my must-haves:
8+ preset buttons on the faceplate
Decent sound quality
Internal amp
Auxiliary in for my iPod
Single DIN size

Here are my nice-to-haves:
Silver faceplate (to match interior)
Amber lighting (to match interior)
Steering wheel IR remote control
RDS
CD-TEXT

Any ideas????

So far, the only thing I can find that meets all the must-haves is the Rockford Fosgate RFX 9400 that was discontinued over a year ago. Anyone know anything about this unit? Is it worth the $300 bucks they're going for on eBay?

I dont know what u mean by RDS but above features are also What you are looking for.(I guess)
