high quality satellite speakers
im looking for some nice quality satellite speakers... ones that can get the really high sounds and can get the BUMP of low bass... what im really looking for is the bass part.. i dont want the weight of subs. ALSO. a nice head unit. im looking to spend about $600 for everything... im looking into infinity kappa 6.1 speakers. anybody have some experience with them? or had any better?
G'day.
I've had a pair of Kappa 6.1's in my front doors for about six weeks now and I am much impressed with them. They have a rather balanced sounds - not too harsh, plenty of crispness to the high end with the lows very ample. For about a month I drove around without my subwoofers so the 6.5" mid-bass in the doors had to pull the low end load - and did so very well.
Fair dinkum.

eagles are in the final this saturday v sydney... do you get the game over there? i wouldnt imagine you would ?
For 600, you can look at the Boston Acoustics Pro60 or a set of Focals. Much better components than the Infinity Kappa, IMO.
If you must have rear speakers, they should be co-ax. However, I'd recommend you use that money toward better components up front. Rear fill is not needed.

If you want a great set of components, I have a brand new set of Boston Acoustics Z6. I was going to install them in the back but with a set in the front there was absolutely no need. I will let them go for 600.00 shipped. P.M. if interested.
