ALSO. a nice head unit. im looking to spend about $600 for everything... im looking into infinity kappa 6.1 speakers. anybody have some experience with them? or had any better?

G'day.
I've had a pair of Kappa 6.1's in my front doors for about six weeks now and I am much impressed with them. They have a rather balanced sounds - not too harsh, plenty of crispness to the high end with the lows very ample. For about a month I drove around without my subwoofers so the 6.5" mid-bass in the doors had to pull the low end load - and did so very well.
Fair dinkum.

For 600, you can look at the Boston Acoustics Pro60 or a set of Focals. Much better components than the Infinity Kappa, IMO.
If you must have rear speakers, they should be co-ax. However, I'd recommend you use that money toward better components up front. Rear fill is not needed.
