Default Dvd-mp3

Are there any head units out that support DVD-MP3 (a DVD full of MP3s only)? Double-din preferred of course

Double DIN options: Eclipse AVX 2404 or 2494 among many others.
Single DIN options: JVC DV5100 or Sony MEX-R5 among many others. Link to DV5100: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-oxEFR5D...257KDDV510#Tab

Thanks! How can I tell if they will support it? The write-up for the Crutchfield one is pretty clear, but other than that it's hard to tell. I know many that support DVD and MP3 still only support MP3 on CD.

The problem isn't that they won't play mp3s off of DVDs, the problem is that some of them can't read DVD+R/RW. The best thing to do is always to visit the manufacturer's site and read the owner's manual of the model you're interested in.

Really? So if it plays DVD-Rs and MP3s it will do this? It seemed like several on the Crutchfield site would read DVD+/-R, but it didn't say it would do MP3 on DVD. Thanks for the advice on the user's manuals.

What do you think about Kenwood DDX7017.
Or this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/E179-6-5-Touch-S...QQcmdZViewItem

Should they be capable? Sorry for my incompetence

jvc kd-avx1 will play mp3's loaded on a dvd disc. I have this deck and love it. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-zrU0Uv6...50&I=257KDAVX1 You can find it cheaper than what crutchfield sells it for though, so be sure to shop around.

I don't have the model number off hand but I had the new sony that just came out, $1400 flip face in my car that was tottaled out in june (barely had it 3 weeks!). Played DVD, MP3, and A-track. All Sony head units that support A-track come with Sonic Stage software that allow you to burn 1000 songs to a normal CD and make subsiquent folders for each artist or genre. I love it.

My Kenwood DDX-7015 plays DVD's loaded with mp3s or Wma files, the touch screen file operation is nice and I fit ALOT of cd's on one DVD at a high bit rate.
