I want to put a screen in. Everyone keeps on opening my NAV Hood, and always asking what goes there. What is the cheapest way of doing this?

You really need to be a little more specific. What do you want to view on the screen (DVDs, Navigation, Video game, etc.)? You can put a Fahrenheit screen in there for around $250 or so (DIY) but it won't display anything until you give it something to display. At a minimum you should probably plan to spend ~$500 for just about anything (ie aftermarket DVD player plus installation). You also have to decide if you want to keep the "stock" radio (either standard or Bose) or upgrade to a new head unit so you can "hear" what is on your screen.
Your best bet is to do a forum search to give you some ideas and the costs of each upgrade. There are a ton of great posts on the subject. Typing Fahrenheit into the search engine would be a good start. Good luck.

So I have to replace the stock system if I want to here anything? I just want a screen. I don't really care if it is a DVD or NAV system. Just something cheap and active. Anything is better than a plastic hole.

If you wanted to go w/ a NAV system. Do you have buy a screen seperate, then the system? Does the screen and system have to come together in a package. I don't know anything about this stuff, that is why I ask such dumb questions
