Default 06 headunit

I have an 06 Z with the radio controls on the steering wheel. anybody know if they will still work if I swap out the stock HU? I know probably not a lot of people had a chance to try yet, but from past experiences with other cars with audio controls on the steering wheel, can they still work?

Have you seen the very first thread in this forum?? Its a "how to" on adding OEM steering wheel controlls. I can say I have done this to my 350 and it works very well. With the 06 model 350, all the steps on installing the switch can be skipped and go directly to the SWIX wireing.

To the origional poster of this thread, simply get a PAC SWIX steering wheel interface form your local stereo shop, follow the instruction, and have fun.
