Need help with LCD/Monitor/whole in my dash

I am looking to put something in replace of the empty spot in my dash where the NAV. system is supposed to be. I just need a screen there, something. Everyone keeps on opening it up and asking " what does this do". I would like to just put something in there. Does anyone know the cheapest way? I just want the screen to be in the spot where the NAV system goes. Any help would be great.
