Default Remote mounted radar systems?

Does anyone have a list or link to a list of all currently avaliable radar detectors that are remotely mounted? (front grill, rear licence frame) and have either a small mountable screen or simple visual display for radar detection? I know that there is the sr1 and sr7 systems, but what else is avalable out there right now?

I was looking for a remote radar detector and tried to find as many comparisons/tests and information as possible. I was only able to find a couple of comparisons, which are listed below:

Radartest.com (click "Test Results" at the bottom for graphic chart)
SML/Speedzones 2001 Test (go down ~2/3 of the page to "Remotes")
Corvette Magazine (used a BEL 815STi-R, not the newer 975LR).

I had previously found a another site that reviewed several remote detectors (pretty much the same models that the above tests compared), but have never been able to find it again (BEL won it). The SML site provided the most information so you really should read it to gain a good base of knowledge of radar detectors in order to make an informed decision. That said. here is a list of the remote detectors I found with estimated installed price, the retail price and the best price I could find. Note that the Passport SR1* is no longer produced due to a violation of FCC regulations and has been replaced by the Passport SR7:

BEL 975LR ($NA installed/$599/$349)
K40 SS3000SWL ($1500 installed/$900/$499)
Passport SR7 ($1099 installed/NA/ $1099-only sold to "dealers")
Passport SRX ($1499 installed/NA/ $1499-only sold to "dealers")
Whistler DE3300 ($NA installed/$350/$179)

*NOTE: The SR1 is usually available on Ebay and has recently sold for $350-$450.

After doing all of my research, I decided to go with the BEL 975LR for the following reasons:

It always ended up near the top in any test and it's KA band detection (important) was excellent (better than SR1).
It can be "upgraded" in the future against "Spectre" detector detection (newest technology used by police to detect radar detectors).
It appears to be a pretty "simple" installation (even though I'm having someone do it for me).
It was reasonably priced at $349 plus you get a $50 rebate with a receipt from a professional installer.
I couldn't find one review of the Passport SR7 (my first choice was the Passport SR1).

You may also want to do a forum search for radar detectors, although the majority of them are for "windshield/dash" detectors. I hope that helps.
