dynamat weights a ton btw , and its gonna take some time fitting that sub into that space, the bose sub thats currently in there is a infinate baffle subwoofer, theres no box and no way to keep the sound in that box, actualy there is no box there really. you are going to need to have a custom box made inside that space, the best way to go is probly molded fiberglass but thats gonna be expensive. if u put that sub in that space without an enclosure... its gonna sound like crap, i garentee it.

if u dont want all that much bass u can go with a 100 watt IB4 10'' from JL audio and it will work fine coz its also an infinate baffle subwoofer and requires no box, it will sound a lot clearer and play louder than the bose setup but its not going to be that much of an increase in loudness if thats what u are looking for, if u want pounding bass u will need to go with an enclosure

i myself have 2 infinity basslinks and they sound great, im yet to upgrade the interiors but i rather keep my stock head unit for the time being

i hope this helped

OK. Thx for the info. Maybe I need go get some custom work done on building a custom enclosure for the sub. Is anyone doing this yet? Or do I just need to visit a stereo shop to have it done?

I think I'll Dynamat around the speakers and inside the sub enclosure. My guess is if your putting in a Basslink, I would Dynamat arount the are that it will be in.
