Default Stock Watt of oe non bose

hey guys? was wondering what is the stock output of the stock speakers for the 350z..
i am looking at a pioneer head unit right now that is 22 watt rms and 50 wat peak x 4
just wondering how that compares to stock setup.

Looked it up in an old brochure. 2004 Z: 160watt stereo w/6 speakers, AM/FM/CD. Pretty sure 03 was the same. Dunno about 05/06.

now that is supposedly 26.6 w/ per speaker..
now is that peak or rms?
cause if that is rms..
then why bother upgrading to better headunit when the stock powers out that much.,..

The 160 is definitely peak power. The stock unit puts out next to nothing in terms of good, clean power. You will laugh when you see how cheap the stock speakers are too.

Those watts have to be peak (dreaming) power I love a good laugh ...
