Default avic-d1 question on 2006 Z

Hi I just order a AVIC-D1 for my 06 Z. I was just wondering what all i need to get in order to install it to the factory bose head unit area. I read I most likly need a choke coil. Anyone know what size? Also where can I get the double din trim that will fit perfect in the area. Thanks

From the ten minutes I looked over the new Z it doesn't look like there's a difference between the O5 and 06.

The D1 ships with a Pioneer choke coil, if you want to add another find out what the fuse value is and then get the choke that same size.

The easiest way to connect your Pioneer wires to the Nissan harness is with an adapter. I got mine from Crutchfield along with a rather handy instruction manual on how to take everything apart front to rear.

I have a one DIN unit and found the Metra much better than the American Internation trim pieces.
