Mounting basslink in stock sub location
Hi,
I've seen a few opinions about this, but wanted to see if there was a consensus...
What is the best way to mount the basslink in the stock sub location? From what I've seen so far, it looks like the best bet might be:
mount it to the top of the compartment, sub firing downwards
Any opinions? Getting this installed on Thursday.
Thanks!

That is the only way I could get it to fit. You can fire it up or down, those are your choices. MIne took a while to get mounted and its only held in by two screws due to the f-ed up shape of that area and difficulty getting screws to tap in to the sheet metal.

believe it or not, my basslink is held in place with zip-ties. Reason is that its an extremely hard area to get to, to install the screws. Ended up using zip ties and its been rock solid for the past 6 months.

What did you zip tie it to? Did you drill holes or just use existing ones? I still need to go back in and make my install more secure but it hasn't moved in 4 months or so, so it's probably not going anywhere...knock on wood.

I have seen some people who only bolt the front of the unit. If you set it up like that it may be relativly easy to remove.
